Research has shown that the simple act of incorporating exercise into the daily routine of individuals with a Parkinson’s disease diagnosis can greatly improve quality of life, and is one of the few known ways to reduce symptoms of PD. As a certified Parkinson’s Exercise Specialist, I’m specifically trained to design and implement exercise routines that support increased fitness, mobility and function in those with PD.

Along with assisting clients with the physical fitness aspect of their health, I also offer a three pillar approach to managing symptoms and improving quality of life, by including emotional coaching and nutrition guidance to coincide with any recommendations made by a client’s healthcare providers.

Movement

Using the unique four core exercise protocol and progressions developed by PWR! Moves we’ll place an emphasis on functional movements and meeting the recommended amount of physical exercise needed to reduce PD symptoms.

Mindset

By focusing on your emotional wellness we’ll work together to explore the power of mindset shifts, and add more empowerment in your every day life. We’ll look at how to keep stress levels low and practice critical mental health self-care.

Nutrition

Together we’ll design an eating plan that puts your unique preferences at the forefront, and increases health. By eating a well balanced diet you’ll practice eating for both joy and overall health and wellness.
